David and I recently dedicated a few hours to covering a benefit for Dress for Success, an organization that empowers and promotes the economic independence of disadvantaged women by providing professional attire, a network of support and the career development tools to help women thrive in work and in life.
Lisa Rubin, owns Hollywood Cupcake. She believes the best things come in small packages and boy is she great at making them!! I was particularly fond of the almond shortbread cookies with fondant icing! I’d never had fondant that tasted so good! And look at how pretty it is!
Fabulous companies donated their products to be raffled off with the proceeds going toward the Dress for Success cause. Here are some of the details from the event!
Part of the event included music by DJ William Freeman, easy updos demonstrated by Shannon & Erin from Allagio Salon, as well as free fashion advice from stylist Amy Gordon! Guests mingled and enjoyed the food and swapped for some new duds!
Thanks to these great professionals for donating their time and talent to the event! Heather, please let me know who else I may have missed!
