The Hamlet Country Club – Wedding Venue

David and I attended a fabulous networking event put on by The Hamlet Country Club in Delray Beach. They’ve just revamped everything and it shows. The space is chic. I think that’s the best word for it. It’s also very flexible and you could pull off a number of styles in their reception areas. Have a look at some of their design elements.

Atlas Party Rental was there along with Touch of Paradise to show four different styles of reception table decor. I decided to name them myself – but the point is made in the photos. Call them what you want, they are all fabulous!

Let’s start talking about the food. It was delicious. I’m a little sad I didn’t snag any photos of the passed hors d’œuvres – I was too busy munching on them happily! I’ll tell you about them though – in my laymans terms… I remember a lobster mac’n’cheese served in a toasted parmesan cheese cup, duck in a crunchy batter with mango salsa, and chicken pot-stickers! Mmmm! And here are some photos of the food that wasn’t walking around the room! Kudos to Ken-Rose Catering for the sumptuous bites!

It’s My Party Custom Invitation Studio brought their designs in to show everyone. I asked Kathy & Jania what their favorite way to create is and they said that they just love it when a client gives them a theme and tells them to be creative and come up with something fabulous! I can relate to that! The freedom to do what you do best – create art, along with the trust of your client is paramount in making something truly fabulous!

ItAfter Chenzo said he was going to put on some Michael Bublé I continued to eat and chat with the guests at my table. At one point I turned around and realized that it was him singing. What a voice!

All in all it was a lovely evening. We met lots of other wedding professionals and got to see more of the excellent work of those we’d already met! Who knows, maybe this will help inspire your wedding design or even connect you with the professionals to help you pull off your own soiree!
